OBM 2023 Problem 6

    Para kk inteiro positivo, seja p(k)p(k) o menor primo que não divide kk. Dado um inteiro positivo aa, defina a sequência infinita a0,a1,…a_0, a_1, \ldots por a0=aa_0 = a e, para n>0n > 0, ana_n é o menor inteiro positivo com as seguintes propriedades:

    • ana_n ainda não apareceu na sequência, ou seja, an≠aia_n \neq a_i para 0≤i<n0 \leq i < n;
    • (an−1)an−1(a_{n-1})^{a_n} - 1 é múltiplo de p(an−1)p(a_{n-1}).

    Prove que todo inteiro positivo aparece como termo da sequência, ou seja, para todo inteiro positivo mm existe nn tal que an=ma_n = m.
