Problem 1

Non-zero polynomials P(x)P(x) , Q(x)Q(x) , and R(x)R(x) with real coefficients satisfy the identities P(x)+Q(x)+R(x)=P(Q(x))+Q(R(x))+R(P(x))=0.P(x) + Q(x) + R(x) = P(Q(x)) + Q(R(x)) + R(P(x)) = 0. Prove that the degrees of the three polynomials are all even.

Problem 2

A ten-level 22 -tree is drawn in the plane: a vertex A1A_1 is marked, it is connected by segments with two vertices B1B_1 and B2B_2 , each of B1B_1 and B2B_2 is connected by segments with two of the four vertices C1,C2,C3,C4C_1, C_2, C_3, C_4 (each CiC_i is connected with one BjB_j exactly); and so on, up to 512512 vertices J1,…,J512J_1, \ldots, J_{512} . Each of the vertices J1,…,J512J_1, \ldots, J_{512} is coloured blue or golden. Consider all permutations ff of the vertices of this tree, such that (i) if XX and YY are connected with a segment, then so are f(X)f(X) and f(Y)f(Y) , and (ii) if XX is coloured, then f(X)f(X) has the same colour. Find the maximum MM such that there are at least MM permutations with these properties, regardless of the colouring.

Problem 3

In parallelogram ABCDABCD with acute angle AA a point NN is chosen on the segment ADAD , and a point MM on the segment CNCN so that AB=BM=CMAB = BM = CM . Point KK is the reflection of NN in line MDMD . The line MKMK meets the segment ADAD at point LL . Let PP be the common point of the circumcircles of AMDAMD and CNKCNK such that AA and PP share the same side of the line MKMK . Prove that ∠CPM=∠DPL\angle CPM = \angle DPL .

Problem 4

In triangle ABCABC , a point MM is the midpoint of ABAB , and a point II is the incentre. Point A1A_1 is the reflection of AA in BIBI , and B1B_1 is the reflection of BB in AIAI . Let NN be the midpoint of A1B1A_1B_1 . Prove that IN>IMIN > IM .

Problem 5

A polynomial f(x)f(x) with real coefficients of degree greater than 11 is given. Prove that there are infinitely many positive integers which cannot be represented in the form f(n+1)+f(n+2)+⋯+f(n+k)f(n+1)+f(n+2)+\cdots+f(n+k) where nn and kk are positive integers.

Problem 6

Do there exist two bounded sequences a1,a2,…a_1, a_2,\ldots and b1,b2,…b_1, b_2,\ldots such that for each positive integers nn and m>nm>n at least one of the two inequalities ∣am−an∣>1/n,|a_m-a_n|>1/\sqrt{n}, and ∣bm−bn∣>1/n|b_m-b_n|>1/\sqrt{n} holds?
