Problem 1

Let us consider a set S={a1<a2<…<a2004}S = \{ a_1 < a_2 < \ldots < a_{2004}\} , satisfying the following properties: f(ai)<2003f(a_i) < 2003 and f(ai)=f(aj)∀i,jf(a_i) = f(a_j) \forall i, j from {1,2,…,2004}\{1, 2,\ldots , 2004\} , where f(ai)f(a_i) denotes number of elements which are relatively prime with aia_i . Find the least positive integer kk for which in every kk -subset of SS , having the above mentioned properties there are two distinct elements with greatest common divisor greater than 1.

Problem 2

Find all real values of α\alpha , for which there exists one and only one function f:R↦Rf: \mathbb{R} \mapsto \mathbb{R} and satisfying the equation f(x2+y+f(y))=(f(x))2+α⋅yf(x^2 + y + f(y)) = (f(x))^2 + \alpha \cdot y for all x,y∈Rx, y \in \mathbb{R} .

Problem 3

In the plane, there are two circles Γ1,Γ2\Gamma_1, \Gamma_2 intersecting each other at two points AA and BB . Tangents of Γ1\Gamma_1 at AA and BB meet each other at KK . Let us consider an arbitrary point MM (which is different of AA and BB ) on Γ1\Gamma_1 . The line MAMA meets Γ2\Gamma_2 again at PP . The line MKMK meets Γ1\Gamma_1 again at CC . The line CACA meets Γ2\Gamma_2 again at QQ . Show that the midpoint of PQPQ lies on the line MCMC and the line PQPQ passes through a fixed point when MM moves on Γ1\Gamma_1 .

Problem 5

Let us consider a convex hexagon ABCDEF. Let A1,B1,C1,D1,E1,F1A_1, B_1,C_1, D_1, E_1, F_1 be midpoints of the sides AB,BC,CD,DE,EF,FAAB, BC, CD, DE, EF,FA respectively. Denote by pp and p1p_1 , respectively, the perimeter of the hexagon ABCDEFA B C D E F and hexagon A1B1C1D1E1F1A_1B_1C_1D_1E_1F_1 . Suppose that all inner angles of hexagon A1B1C1D1E1F1A_1B_1C_1D_1E_1F_1 are equal. Prove that p≥2⋅33⋅p1.p \geq \frac{2 \cdot \sqrt{3}}{3} \cdot p_1 . When does equality hold ?

Problem 6

Let SS be the set of positive integers in which the greatest and smallest elements are relatively prime. For natural nn , let SnS_n denote the set of natural numbers which can be represented as sum of at most nn elements (not necessarily different) from SS . Let aa be greatest element from SS . Prove that there are positive integer kk and integers bb such that ∣Sn∣=a⋅n+b|S_n| = a \cdot n + b for all n>kn > k .
