Problem 1

For n∈Nn\in\mathbb{N} , let ana_{n} denote the closest integer to n\sqrt{n} . Evaluate ∑n=1∞1an3.\sum_{n=1}^\infty{\frac{1}{a_{n}^{3}}}.

Problem 2

Let ABCDABCD be a cyclic quadrilateral ∠BAD<90∘\angle{BAD}< 90^\circ and ∠BCA=∠DCA\angle BCA = \angle DCA . Point EE is taken on segment DADA such that BD=2DEBD=2DE . The line through EE parallel to CDCD intersects the diagonal ACAC at FF . Prove that AC⋅BDAB⋅FC=2.\frac{AC\cdot BD}{AB\cdot FC}=2.

Problem 3

Let nn blue lines, no two of which are parallel and no three concurrent, be drawn on a plane. An intersection of two blue lines is called a blue point. Through any two blue points that have not already been joined by a blue line, a red line is drawn. An intersection of two red lines is called a red point, and an intersection of red line and a blue line is called a purple point. What is the maximum possible number of purple points?

Problem 4

Let f:R+→R+f: \mathbb{R}^{+}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}+ be an increasing function. For each u∈R+u\in\mathbb{R}^{+} , we denote g(u)=inf⁡{f(t)+u/t∣t>0}g(u)=\inf\{ f(t)+u/t \mid t>0\} . Prove that: (a)(a) If x≤g(xy)x\leq g(xy) , then x≤2f(2y)x\leq 2f(2y) ; (b)(b) If x≤f(y)x\leq f(y) , then x≤2g(xy)x\leq 2g(xy) .

Problem 5

Find the set of all ordered pairs (s,t)(s,t) of positive integers such that t2+1=s(s+1).t^{2}+1=s(s+1).

Problem 6

The incircle of triangle ABCABC touches BCBC at DD and ACAC at EE . Let KK be the point on CBCB with CK=BDCK=BD , and LL be the point on CACA with AE=CLAE=CL . Lines AKAK and BLBL meet at PP . If QQ is the midpoint of BCBC , II the incenter, and GG the centroid of △ABC\triangle ABC , show that: (a)(a) IQIQ and AKAK are parallel, (b)(b) the triangles AIGAIG and QPGQPG have equal area.
