Problem 1

Let n≥3n \ge 3 be a positive integer. Determine, in terms of nn , how many triples of sets (A,B,C)(A,B,C) satisfy the conditions: ∙\bullet A,BA, B and CC are pairwise disjoint , that is, A∩B=A∩C=B∩C=∅A \cap B = A \cap C= B \cap C= \emptyset . ∙\bullet A∪B∪C={1,2,...,n}A \cup B \cup C= \{ 1 , 2 , ... , n \} . ∙\bullet The sum of the elements of AA , the sum of the elements of BB and the sum of the elements of CC leave the same remainder when divided by 33 .

Note: One or more of the sets may be empty.

Problem 2

El Chapulín observed that the number 20142014 has an unusual property. By placing its eight positive divisors in increasing order, the fifth divisor is equal to three times the third minus 44 . A number of eight divisors with this unusual property is called the red number . How many red numbers smaller than 20142014 exist?

Problem 3

Kiko and Ñoño play with a rod of length 2n2n where n≤3n \le 3 is an integer. Kiko cuts the rod in k≤2nk \le 2n pieces of integer lengths. Then Ñoño has to arrange these pieces so that they form a hexagon of equal opposite sides and equal angles. The pieces can not be split and they all have to be used. If Ñoño achieves his goal, he wins, in any other case, Kiko wins. Determine which victory can be secured based on kk .

Problem 4

A pair (a,b) of positive integers is Rioplatenseif it is true that b+kb + k is a multiple of a+ka + k for all k∈{0,1,2,3,4}k \in\{ 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 \} . Prove that there is an infinite set AA of positive integers such that for any two elements aa and bb of AA , with a<ba < b , the pair (a,b)(a,b) is Rioplatense.

Problem 5

In the segment ACA C a point BB is taken. Construct circles T1,T2T_1, T_2 and T3T_3 of diameters AB,BCA B, BC and ACAC respectively. A line that passes through BB cuts T3T_3 in the points PP and QQ , and the circles T1T_1 and T2T_2 respectively at points RR and SS . Prove that PR=QSPR = Q S .

Problem 6

Let n∈Nn \in N such that 1+2+...+n1 + 2 + ... + n is divisible by 33 . Integers a1≥a2≥a3≥2a_1\ge a_2\ge a_3\ge 2 have sum nn and they satisfy 1+2+...+a1≤13(1+2+...+n)1 + 2 + ... + a_1\le \frac{1}{3}( 1 + 2 + ... + n ) and 1+2+...+(a1+a2)≤23(1+2+...+n)1 + 2 + ... + (a_1+ a_2) \le \frac{2}{3}( 1 + 2 + ... + n ) . Prove that there is a partition of {1,2,...,n}\{ 1 , 2 , ... , n\} in three subsets A1,A2,A3A_1, A_2, A_3 with cardinals ∣Ai∣=ai,i=1,2,3| A_i| = a_i, i = 1 , 2 , 3 , and with equal sums of their elements .
