Problem 1

Find all functions ff defined on the integers greater than or equal to 11 that satisfy: (a) for all n,f(n)n,f(n) is a positive integer. (b) f(n+m)=f(n)f(m)f(n + m) =f(n)f(m) for all mm and nn . (c) There exists n0n_0 such that f(f(n0))=[f(n0)]2f(f(n_0)) = [f(n_0)]^2 .

Problem 2

An integer is written in each cell of a board of NN rows and N+1N + 1 columns. Prove that some columns (possibly none) can be deleted so that in each row the sum of the numbers left uncrossed out is even.

Problem 3

Given three points A,BA, B and CC (not collinear) construct the equilateral triangle of greater perimeter such that each of its sides passes through one of the given points.

Problem 4

xx and yy are real numbers such that 6−x6 -x , 3+y23 + y^2 , 11+x11 + x , 14−y214 - y^2 are greater than zero. Find the maximum of the function f(x,y)=(6−x)(3+y2)+(11+x)(14−y2).f(x,y) = \sqrt{(6 -x)(3 + y^2)} + \sqrt{(11 + x)(14 - y^2)}.

Problem 5

Prove that for every integer k≥2k \ge 2 there are kk different natural numbers n1n_1 , n2n_2 , ...... , nkn_k such that: 1n1+1n2+...+1nk=317\frac{1}{n_1}+\frac{1}{n_2}+...+\frac{1}{n_k}=\frac{3}{17}

Problem 6

Let ABCDEABCDE be pentagon such that AE=EDAE = ED and BC=CDBC = CD . It is known that ∠BAE+∠EDC+∠CBA=360o\angle BAE + \angle EDC + \angle CB A = 360^o and that PP is the midpoint of ABAB . Show that the triangle ECPECP is right.
