Problem 1

Determine all prime numbers pp for which 8p4−30038p^4-3003 is a positive prime number.

Problem 2

In a triangle ABC,PABC, P and P′P' are points on side BC,QBC, Q on side CACA , and RR on side ABAB , such that ARRB=BPPC=CQQA=CP′P′B\frac{AR}{RB}=\frac{BP}{PC}=\frac{CQ}{QA}=\frac{CP'}{P'B} . Let GG be the centroid of triangle ABCABC and KK be the intersection point of AP′AP' and RQRQ . Prove that points P,G,KP,G,K are collinear.

Problem 3

The numbers 11 through 1616 are to be written in the cells of a 4×44\times 4 board. (a) Prove that this can be done in such a way that any two numbers in cells that share a side differ by at most 44 . (b) Prove that this cannot be done in such a way that any two numbers in cells that share a side differ by at most 33 .

Problem 4

What is the minimum number of planes determined by 66 points in space which are not all coplanar, and among which no three are collinear?

Problem 5

Let P,Q,RP,Q,R be points on the sides BC,CA,ABBC,CA,AB respectively of a triangle ABCABC . Suppose that BQBQ and CRCR meet at A′,APA', AP and CRCR meet at B′B' , and APAP and BQBQ meet at C′C' , such that AB′=B′C′,BC′=C′A′AB' = B'C', BC' =C'A' , and CA′=A′B′CA'= A'B' . Compute the ratio of the area of △PQR\triangle PQR to the area of △ABC\triangle ABC .

Problem 6

Prove that number 11 has infinitely many representations of the form 1=15+1a1+1a2+...+1an1 =\frac{1}{5}+\frac{1}{a_1}+\frac{1}{a_2}+ ...+\frac{1}{a_n} , where nn and aia_i are positive integers with 5<a1<a2<...<an5 < a_1 < a_2 < ... < a_n .
