Problem 1

Let x, yx,\ y be relatively prime numbers such that xy≠1xy\neq 1. For positive even integer nn, prove that x+yx + y isn't a divisor of xn+ynx^n + y^n.

Problem 2

Suppose that D, ED,\ E are points on AB, ACAB,\ AC of △ABC\triangle{ABC} with area 11 respectively and PP is BE∩CDBE\cap CD. When D, ED,\ E move on AB, ACAB,\ AC with satisfying the condition [BCED]=2△PBC[BCED] = 2\triangle{PBC}, find the maximum area of △PDE\triangle{PDE}.

Problem 3

Prove the inequality ∑k=1n−1nn−k⋅12k−1<4 (n≥2)\sum_{k=1}^{n-1} \frac{n}{n-k}\cdot \frac{1}{2^{k-1}}<4\ (n\geq 2).

Problem 4

Let AA be a m×n (m≠n)m\times n\ (m\neq n) matrix with the entries 00 and 11. Suppose that if ff is injective such that f:{1, 2, ⋯ , m}⟶{1, 2, ⋯ , n}f: \{1,\ 2,\ \cdots ,\ m\}\longrightarrow \{1,\ 2,\ \cdots ,\ n\}, then there exists 1≤i≤m1\leq i\leq m such that (i, f(i))(i,\ f(i)) element is 00.

Prove that there exist S⊆{1, 2, ⋯ , m}S\subseteq \{1,\ 2,\ \cdots ,\ m\} and T⊆{1, 2, ⋯ , n}T\subseteq \{1,\ 2,\ \cdots ,\ n\} satisfying the condition:

i)i) if i∈S, j∈Ti\in{S},\ j\in{T}, then (i, j)(i,\ j) entry is 00.

ii)ii) card S+card T>ncard\ S + card\ T > n.

Problem 5

Suppose that n≥2n\geq 2 be integer and a1, a2, a3, a4a_1,\ a_2,\ a_3,\ a_4 satisfy the following condition:

i)  n\ n and ai (i=1, 2, 3, 4)a_i\ (i = 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4) are relatively prime.

ii)  (ka1)n+(ka2)n+(ka3)n+(ka4)n=2n\ (ka_1)_n + (ka_2)_n + (ka_3)_n + (ka_4)_n = 2n for k=1, 2, ⋯ , n−1k = 1,\ 2,\ \cdots ,\ n - 1.

Note that (a)n(a)_n expresses the divisor when aa is divided by nn.

Prove that (a1)n, (a2)n, (a3)n, (a4)n(a_1)_n,\ (a_2)_n,\ (a_3)_n,\ (a_4)_n can be divided into two pair with sum nn.
