Problem 1

Let P={p1,p2,…,p10}P = \{p_1,p_2,\ldots, p_{10}\} be a set of 1010 different prime numbers and let AA be the set of all the integers greater than 11 so that their prime decomposition only contains primes of PP . The elements of AA are colored in such a way that:

  • each element of PP has a different color,
  • if m,n∈Am,n \in A , then mnmn is the same color of mm or nn ,
  • for any pair of different colors R\mathcal{R} and S\mathcal{S} , there are no j,k,m,n∈Aj,k,m,n\in A (not necessarily distinct from one another), with j,kj,k colored R\mathcal{R} and m,nm,n colored S\mathcal{S} , so that jj is a divisor of mm and nn is a divisor of kk , simultaneously.

Prove that there exists a prime of PP so that all its multiples in AA are the same color.

Problem 2

Consider an acute-angled triangle ABCABC , with AC>ABAC>AB , and let Γ\Gamma be its circumcircle. Let EE and FF be the midpoints of the sides ACAC and ABAB , respectively. The circumcircle of the triangle CEFCEF and Γ\Gamma meet at XX and CC , with X≠CX\neq C . The line BXBX and the tangent to Γ\Gamma through AA meet at YY . Let PP be the point on segment ABAB so that YP=YAYP = YA , with P≠AP\neq A , and let QQ be the point where ABAB and the parallel to BCBC through YY meet each other. Show that FF is the midpoint of PQPQ .

Problem 3

Let a1,a2,a3,…a_1,a_2,a_3, \ldots be a sequence of positive integers and let b1,b2,b3,…b_1,b_2,b_3,\ldots be the sequence of real numbers given by bn=a1a2⋯ana1+a2+⋯+an, for n≥1b_n = \dfrac{a_1a_2\cdots a_n}{a_1+a_2+\cdots + a_n},\ \text{for}\ n\geq 1 Show that, if there exists at least one term among every million consecutive terms of the sequence b1,b2,b3,…b_1,b_2,b_3,\ldots that is an integer, then there exists some kk such that bk>20212021b_k > 2021^{2021} .

Problem 4

Let a,b,c,x,y,za,b,c,x,y,z be real numbers such that

a2+x2=b2+y2=c2+z2=(a+b)2+(x+y)2=(b+c)2+(y+z)2=(c+a)2+(z+x)2a^2+x^2=b^2+y^2=c^2+z^2=(a+b)^2+(x+y)^2=(b+c)^2+(y+z)^2=(c+a)^2+(z+x)^2

Show that a2+b2+c2=x2+y2+z2a^2+b^2+c^2=x^2+y^2+z^2 .

Problem 5

For a finite set CC of integer numbers, we define S(C)S(C) as the sum of the elements of CC . Find two non-empty sets AA and BB whose intersection is empty, whose union is the set {1,2,…,2021}\{1,2,\ldots, 2021\} and such that the product S(A)S(B)S(A)S(B) is a perfect square.

Problem 6

Consider a nn -sided regular polygon, n≥4n \geq 4 , and let VV be a subset of rr vertices of the polygon. Show that if r(r−3)≥nr(r-3) \geq n , then there exist at least two congruent triangles whose vertices belong to VV .
