Define parabolas PA\mathcal{P}_{A} PB\mathcal{P}_{B} PC\mathcal{P}_{C} , and PD\mathcal{P}_{D} to have directrices BDB D CAC A DBD B , and ACA C , and foci AA BB CC , and DD , respectively. Prove that no two of these parabolas intersect more than once.
