GAIC Math 2024 Problem 4

  • Answer

Let nn be a positive integer. An integer kk is called a "fan" of nn if and only if 0⩽k⩽n−10 \leqslant k \leqslant n-1 and there exist integers xx, yy, z∈Zz \in \mathbf{Z} such that x2+y2+z2≡0(modn)x^2+y^2+z^2 \equiv 0 (\mathrm{mod} n) and xyz≡k(modn)xyz \equiv k (\mathrm{mod} n). Let f(n)f(n) denote the number of fans of nn. Then f(2020) = \underline{\hspace{2cm}}.
