EGMO 2017 Problem 6

  • Day 2

Let ABCA B C be an acute-angled triangle in which no two sides have the same length. The reflections of the centroid GG and the circumcentre OO of ABCA B C in its sides BC,CA,ABB C, C A, A B are denoted by G1,G2,G3G_{1}, G_{2}, G_{3}, and O1,O2,O3O_{1}, O_{2}, O_{3}, respectively. Show that the circumcircles of the triangles G1G2C,G1G3B,G2G3A,O1O2C,O1O3B,O2O3AG_{1} G_{2} C, G_{1} G_{3} B, G_{2} G_{3} A, O_{1} O_{2} C, O_{1} O_{3} B, O_{2} O_{3} A and ABCA B C have a common point.

The centroid of a triangle is the intersection point of the three medians. A median is a line connecting a vertex of the triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side.
