Problem 1

The sequence (an)(a_n) is defined by a1=1,a2=12a_1=1,a_2=\frac{1}{2} , n(n+1)an+1an+nanan−1=(n+1)2an+1an−1(n≥2).n(n+1) a_{n+1}a_{n}+na_{n}a_{n-1}=(n+1)^2a_{n+1}a_{n-1}(n\ge 2). Prove that 2n+1<ann<1n(n≥3).\frac{2}{n+1}<\sqrt[n]{a_n}<\frac{1}{\sqrt{n}}(n\ge 3).

Problem 3

Given any integer n≥3n\geq 3 . A finite series is called nn -series if it satisfies the following two conditions 1)1) It has at least 33 terms and each term of it belongs to {1,2,...,n}\{ 1,2,...,n\} 2)2) If series has mm terms a1,a2,...,ama_1,a_2,...,a_m then (ak+1−ak)(ak+2−ak)<0(a_{k+1}-a_k)(a_{k+2}-a_k)<0 for all k=1,2,...,m−2k=1,2,...,m-2 How many nn -series are there ??

Problem 6

Toss the coin nn times, assume that each time, only appear only head or tail Let a(n)a(n) denote number of way that head appear in multiple of 33 times among nn times Let b(n)b(n) denote numbe of way that head appear in multiple of 66 times among nn times (1)(1) Find a(2016)a(2016) and b(2016)b(2016) (2)(2) Find the number of positive integer n≤2016n\leq 2016 that 2b(n)−a(n)≥02b(n)-a(n)\geq 0

Problem 8

Let {an}\{ a_n\} be a series consisting of positive integers such that n2∣∑i=1nain^2 \mid \sum_{i=1}^{n}{a_i} and an≤(n+2016)2a_n\leq (n+2016)^2 for all n≥2016n\geq 2016 . Define bn=an+1−anb_n=a_{n+1}-a_n . Prove that the series {bn}\{ b_n\} is eventually constant.
