Problem 6

The diagonals of a convex quadrilateral ABCDABCD intersect in the point EE . Let UU be the circumcenter of the triangle ABEABE and HH be its orthocenter. Similarly, let VV be the circumcenter of the triangle CDECDE and KK be its orthocenter. Prove that EE lies on the line UKUK if and only if it lies on the line VHVH .

Problem 7

Find all real functions ff definited on positive integers and satisying:

(a) f(x+22)=f(x)f(x+22)=f(x) ,

(b) f(x2y)=(f(x))2f(y)f\left(x^{2}y\right)=\left(f(x)\right)^{2}f(y) for all positive integers xx and yy .

Problem 8

Problem 9

A set PP of 20022002 persons is given. The family of subsets of PP containing exactly 10011001 persons has the property that the number of acquaintance pairs in each such subset is the same. (It is assumed that the acquaintance relation is symmetric). Find the best lower estimation of the acquaintance pairs in the set PP .

Problem 10

For all real number xx consider the family F(x)F(x) of all sequences (an)n≥0(a_{n})_{n\geq 0} satisfying the equation an+1=x−1an(n≥0).a_{n+1}=x-\frac{1}{a_{n}} (n\geq 0). A positive integer pp is called a minimal period of the family F(x)F(x) if

(a) each sequence (an)∈F(x)\left(a_{n}\right)\in F(x) is periodic with the period pp ,

(b) for each 0<q<p0<q<p there exists (an)∈F(x)\left(a_{n}\right)\in F(x) such that qq is not a period of (an)\left(a_{n}\right) .
