Day 1

Problem 1

  • Day 1

Find all integers n≥3n \geq 3 such that the following property holds: if we list the divisors of n!n! in increasing order as 1=d1<d2<⋯<dk=n!1 = d_1 < d_2 < \dots < d_k = n! , then we have d2−d1≤d3−d2≤⋯≤dk−dk−1.d_2 - d_1 \leq d_3 - d_2 \leq \dots \leq d_k - d_{k-1}.

Problem 2

  • Day 1

Let S1,S2,…,S100S_1, S_2, \ldots, S_{100} be finite sets of integers whose intersection is not empty. For each non-empty T⊆{S1,S2,…,S100},T \subseteq \{S_1, S_2, \ldots, S_{100}\}, the size of the intersection of the sets in TT is a multiple of the number of sets in TT . What is the least possible number of elements that are in at least 5050 sets?

Problem 3

  • Day 1

Let mm be a positive integer. A triangulation of a polygon is mm -balanced if its triangles can be colored with mm colors in such a way that the sum of the areas of all triangles of the same color is the same for each of the mm colors. Find all positive integers nn for which there exists an mm -balanced triangulation of a regular nn -gon.

Note: A triangulation of a convex polygon P\mathcal{P} with n≥3n \ge 3 sides is any partitioning of P\mathcal{P} into n−2n-2 triangles by n−3n-3 diagonals of P\mathcal{P} that do not intersect in the polygon's interior.

Problem 4

  • Day 2

Let mm and nn be positive integers. A circular necklace contains mnmn beads, each either red or blue. It turned out that no matter how the necklace was cut into mm blocks of nn consecutive beads, each block had a distinct number of red beads. Determine, with proof, all possible values of the ordered pair (m,n)(m, n) .

Problem 5

  • Day 2

Point DD is selected inside acute △ABC\triangle ABC so that ∠DAC=∠ACB\angle DAC = \angle ACB and ∠BDC=90∘+∠BAC\angle BDC = 90^{\circ} + \angle BAC . Point EE is chosen on ray BDBD so that AE=ECAE = EC . Let MM be the midpoint of BCBC .

Problem 6

  • Day 2

Let n>2n > 2 be an integer and let ℓ∈{1,2,…,n}\ell \in \{1, 2,\dots, n\} . A collection A1,…,AkA_1,\dots,A_k of (not necessarily distinct) subsets of {1,2,…,n}\{1, 2,\dots, n\} is called ℓ\ell -large if ∣Ai∣≥ℓ|A_i| \ge \ell for all 1≤i≤k1 \le i \le k . Find, in terms of nn and ℓ\ell , the largest real number cc such that the inequality ∑i=1k∑j=1kxixj∣Ai∩Aj∣2∣Ai∣⋅∣Aj∣≥c(∑i=1kxi)2\sum_{i=1}^k\sum_{j=1}^k x_ix_j\frac{|A_i\cap A_j|^2}{|A_i|\cdot|A_j|}\ge c\left(\sum_{i=1}^k x_i\right)^2 holds for all positive integer kk , all nonnegative real numbers x1,x2,…,xkx_1,x_2,\dots,x_k , and all ℓ\ell -large collections A1,A2,…,AkA_1,A_2,\dots,A_k of subsets of {1,2,…,n}\{1,2,\dots,n\} .
