Problem 1

In a bag there are 10071007 black and 10071007 white balls, which are randomly numbered 11 to 20142014 . In every step we draw one ball and put it on the table; also if we want to, we may choose two different colored balls from the table and put them in a different bag. If we do that we earn points equal to the absolute value of their differences. How many points can we guarantee to earn after 20142014 steps?

Problem 2

Find all all positive integers x,y,and z satisfying the equation x3=3y7z+8x^3=3^y7^z+8

Problem 3

Let D,E,FD, E, F be points on the sides BC,CA,ABBC, CA, AB of a triangle ABCABC , respectively such that the lines AD,BE,CFAD, BE, CF are concurrent at the point PP . Let a line ℓ\ell through AA intersect the rays [DE[DE and [DF[DF at the points QQ and RR , respectively. Let MM and NN be points on the rays [DB[DB and [DC[DC , respectively such that the equation QN2DN+RM2DM=(DQ+DR)2−2⋅RQ2+2⋅DM⋅DNMN\frac{QN^2}{DN}+\frac{RM^2}{DM}=\frac{(DQ+DR)^2-2\cdot RQ^2+2\cdot DM\cdot DN}{MN} holds. Show that the lines ADAD and BCBC are perpendicular to each other.

Problem 4

Let PP and QQ be the midpoints of non-parallel chords k1k_1 and k2k_2 of a circle ω\omega , respectively. Let the tangent lines of ω\omega passing through the endpoints of k1k_1 intersect at AA and the tangent lines passing through the endpoints of k2k_2 intersect at BB . Let the symmetric point of the orthocenter of triangle ABPABP with respect to the line ABAB be RR and let the feet of the perpendiculars from RR to the lines AP,BP,AQ,BQAP, BP, AQ, BQ be R1,R2,R3,R4R_1, R_2, R_3, R_4 , respectively. Prove that AR1PR1⋅PR2BR2=AR3QR3⋅QR4BR4\frac{AR_1}{PR_1} \cdot \frac{PR_2}{BR_2} = \frac{AR_3}{QR_3} \cdot \frac{QR_4}{BR_4}

Problem 5

Find all natural numbers nn for which there exist non-zero and distinct real numbers a1,a2,…,ana_1, a_2, \ldots, a_n satisfying {ai+(−1)iai∣1≤i≤n}={ai∣1≤i≤n}.\left\{a_i+\dfrac{(-1)^i}{a_i} \Big | 1 \leq i \leq n\right\} = \{a_i \mid 1 \leq i \leq n\}.

Problem 6

55 airway companies operate in a country consisting of 3636 cities. Between any pair of cities exactly one company operates two way flights. If some air company operates between cities A,BA, B and B,CB, C we say that the triple A,B,CA, B, C is properly-connected. Determine the largest possible value of kk such that no matter how these flights are arranged there are at least kk properly-connected triples.
