Problem 1

Let ABCDABCD be a convex quadrilateral. The perpendicular bisectors of the sides [AD][AD] and [BC][BC] intersect at a point PP inside the quadrilateral and the perpendicular bisectors of the sides [AB][AB] and [CD][CD] also intersect at a point QQ inside the quadrilateral. Show that, if ∠APD=∠BPC\angle APD = \angle BPC then ∠AQB=∠CQD\angle AQB = \angle CQD

Problem 2

(xn)−∞<n<∞(x_{n})_{-\infty<n<\infty} is a sequence of real numbers which satisfies xn+1=xn2+107x_{n+1}=\frac{x_{n}^2+10}{7} for every n∈Zn \in \mathbb{Z} . If there exist a real upperbound for this sequence, find all the values x0x_{0} can take.

Problem 3

One wants to distribute nn same sized cakes between kk people equally by cutting every cake at most once. If the number of positive divisors of nn is denoted as d(n)d(n) , show that the number of different values of kk which makes such distribution possible is n+d(n)n+d(n)

Problem 4

Find all ordered triples of positive integers (x,y,z)(x,y,z) such that 3x+11y=z23^{x}+11^{y}=z^{2}

Problem 5

Two nonperpendicular lines throught the point AA and a point FF on one of these lines different from AA are given. Let PGP_{G} be the intersection point of tangent lines at GG and FF to the circle through the point AA , FF and GG where GG is a point on the given line different from the line FAFA . What is the locus of PGP_{G} as GG varies.

Problem 6

We wish to color the cells of a n×nn \times n chessboard with kk different colors such that for every i∈{1,2,...,n}i\in \{1,2,...,n\} , the 2n−12n-1 cells on ii . row and ii . column have all different colors.

a) Prove that for n=2001n=2001 and k=4001k=4001 , such coloring is not possible.

b) Show that for n=2m−1n=2^{m}-1 and k=2m+1−1k=2^{m+1}-1 , such coloring is possible.
