Problem 1

In the acute-angled triangle ABCABC with circumcircle ω\omega and orthocenter HH , points DD and EE are the feet of the perpendiculars from AA onto BCBC and from BB onto ACAC respecively. Let PP be a point on the minor arc BCBC of ω\omega . Points MM and NN are the feet of the perpendiculars from PP onto lines BCBC and ACAC respectively. Let PHPH and MNMN intersect at RR . Prove that ∠DMR=∠MDR\angle DMR=\angle MDR .

Problem 3

A robot is placed at point PP on the xx -axis but different from (0,0)(0,0) and (1,0)(1,0) and can only move along the axis either to the left or to the right. Two players play the following game. Player AA gives a distance and BB gives a direction and the robot will move the indicated distance along the indicated direction. Player AA aims to move the robot to either (0,0)(0,0) or (1,0)(1,0) . Player BB 's aim is to stop AA from achieving his aim. For which PP can AA win?

Problem 4

Let p≡2(mod3)p \equiv 2 \pmod 3 be a prime, kk a positive integer and P(x)=3x2p−13+3xp+13+x+1P(x) = 3x^{\frac{2p-1}{3}}+3x^{\frac{p+1}{3}}+x+1 . For any integer nn , let R(n)R(n) denote the remainder when nn is divided by pp and let S={0,1,⋯ ,p−1}S = \{0,1,\cdots,p-1\} . At each step, you can either (a) replaced every element ii of SS with R(P(i))R(P(i)) or (b) replaced every element ii of SS with R(ik)R(i^k) . Determine all kk such that there exists a finite sequence of steps that reduces SS to {0}\{0\} .

Problem 5

In a m×nm\times n chessboard ( m,n≥2m,n\ge 2 ), some dominoes are placed (without overlap) with each domino covering exactly two adjacent cells. Show that if no more dominoes can be added to the grid, then at least 2/32/3 of the chessboard is covered by dominoes.
