Problem 1

The incircle with centre II of the triangle ABCABC touches the sides BC,CABC, CA and ABAB at D,E,FD, E, F respectively. The line IDID intersects the segment EFEF at KK . Proof that A,K,MA, K, M collinear, where MM is the midpoint of BCBC .

Problem 2

Find all functions f:R→Rf:\mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R} so that (x+y)(f(x)−f(y))=(x−y)f(x+y)(x+y)(f(x)-f(y))=(x-y)f(x+y) for all x,yx,y that belongs to R\mathbb{R} .

Problem 3

For each i=1,2,..Ni=1,2,..N , let ai,bi,cia_i,b_i,c_i be integers such that at least one of them is odd. Show that one can find integers x,y,zx,y,z such that xai+ybi+zcixa_i+yb_i+zc_i is odd for at least 47N\frac{4}{7}N different values of ii .

Problem 4

Let pp be an odd prime. Prove that 1p−2+2p−2+⋯+(p−12)p−2≡2−2pp(modp).1^{p-2}+2^{p-2}+\cdots+\left(\frac{p-1}{2}\right)^{p-2}\equiv\frac{2-2^p}{p}\pmod p.

Problem 5

There are 20122012 distinct points in the plane, each of which is to be coloured using one of nn colours, so that the numbers of points of each colour are distinct. A set of nn points is said to be multi-colouredif their colours are distinct. Determine nn that maximizes the number of multi-coloured sets.
