Problem 1

Find all monic polynomials P(x)P(x) such that the polynomial P(x)2−1P(x)^2-1 is divisible by the polynomial P(x+1)P(x+1) .

Problem 2

We are given a polyhedron with at least 55 vertices, such that exactly 33 edges meet in each of the vertices. Prove that we can assign a rational number to every vertex of the given polyhedron such that the following conditions are met: (i)(i) At least one of the numbers assigned to the vertices is equal to 20202020 . (ii)(ii) For every polygonal face, the product of the numbers assigned to the vertices of that face is equal to 11 .

Problem 3

We are given a triangle ABCABC . Points DD and EE on the line ABAB are such that AD=ACAD=AC and BE=BCBE=BC , with the arrangment of points D−A−B−ED - A - B - E . The circumscribed circles of the triangles DBCDBC and EACEAC meet again at the point X≠CX\neq C , and the circumscribed circles of the triangles DECDEC and ABCABC meet again at the point Y≠CY\neq C . Find the measure of ∠ACB\angle ACB given the condition DY+EY=2XYDY+EY=2XY .

Problem 4

In a trapezoid ABCDABCD such that the internal angles are not equal to 90∘90^{\circ} , the diagonals ACAC and BDBD intersect at the point EE . Let PP and QQ be the feet of the altitudes from AA and BB to the sides BCBC and ADAD respectively. Circumscribed circles of the triangles CEQCEQ and DEPDEP intersect at the point F≠EF\neq E . Prove that the lines APAP , BQBQ and EFEF are either parallel to each other, or they meet at exactly one point.

Problem 5

For a natural number nn , with v2(n)v_2(n) we denote the largest integer k≥0k\geq0 such that 2k∣n2^k|n . Let us assume that the function f ⁣:N→Nf\colon\mathbb{N}\to\mathbb{N} meets the conditions: (i)(i) f(x)≤3xf(x)\leq3x for all natural numbers x∈Nx\in\mathbb{N} . (ii)(ii) v2(f(x)+f(y))=v2(x+y)v_2(f(x)+f(y))=v_2(x+y) for all natural numbers x,y∈Nx,y\in\mathbb{N} .

Prove that for every natural number aa there exists exactly one natural number xx such that f(x)=3af(x)=3a .

Problem 6

We are given a natural number kk . Let us consider the following game on an infinite onedimensional board. At the start of the game, we distrubute nn coins on the fields of the given board (one field can have multiple coins on itself). After that, we have two choices for the following moves: (i)(i) We choose two nonempty fields next to each other, and we transfer all the coins from one of the fields to the other. (ii)(ii) We choose a field with at least 22 coins on it, and we transfer one coin from the chosen field to the k−thk-\mathrm{th} field on the left , and one coin from the chosen field to the k−thk-\mathrm{th} field on the right. (a)\mathbf{(a)} If n≤k+1n\leq k+1 , prove that we can play only finitely many moves. (b)\mathbf{(b)} For which values of kk we can choose a natural number nn and distribute nn coins on the given board such that we can play infinitely many moves.
