Problem 2

Let ABCDABCD be a square, and let EE and FF be points in ABAB and BCBC respectively such that BE=BFBE=BF . In the triangle EBCEBC , let N be the foot of the altitude relative to ECEC . Let GG be the intersection between ADAD and the extension of the previously mentioned altitude. FGFG and ECEC intersect at point PP , and the lines NFNF and DCDC intersect at point TT . Prove that the line DPDP is perpendicular to the line BTBT .

Problem 3

A division of a group of people into various groups is called kk -regular if the number of groups is less or equal to kk and two people that know each other are in different groups. Let AA , BB , and CC groups of people such that there are is no person in AA and no person in BB that know each other. Suppose that the group A∪CA \cup C has an aa -regular division and the group B∪CB \cup C has a bb -regular division. For each aa and bb , determine the least possible value of kk for which it is guaranteed that the group A∪B∪CA \cup B \cup C has a kk -regular division.

Problem 4

Two players AA and BB play alternatively in a convex polygon with n≥5n \geq 5 sides. In each turn, the corresponding player has to draw a diagonal that does not cut inside the polygon previously drawn diagonals. A player loses if after his turn, one quadrilateral is formed such that its two diagonals are not drawn. AA starts the game. For each positive integer nn , find a winning strategy for one of the players.

Problem 5

Find all positive integers nn for which there exist two distinct numbers of nn digits, a1a2…an‾\overline{a_1a_2\ldots a_n} and b1b2…bn‾\overline{b_1b_2\ldots b_n} , such that the number of 2n2n digits a1a2…anb1b2…bn‾\overline{a_1a_2\ldots a_nb_1b_2\ldots b_n} is divisible by b1b2…bna1a2…an‾\overline{b_1b_2\ldots b_na_1a_2\ldots a_n} .

Problem 6

Let ABCABC be an acute scalene triangle, HH its orthocenter and GG its geocenter. The circumference with diameter AHAH cuts the circumcircle of BHCBHC in A′A' ( A′≠HA' \neq H ). Points B′B' and C′C' are defined similarly. Show that the points A′A' , B′B' , C′C' , and GG lie in one circumference.
