Other problems

Problem 1

Prove that among the numbers of the form 50n+(50n+1)5050^n + (50n+1)^{50} , where nn is a natural number, there exist infinitely many composite numbers.

Problem 2

Show that for all real numbers a,b,c,d,a,b,c,d, the following inequality holds:

(a+b+c+d)2≤3(a2+b2+c2+d2)+6ab(a+b+c+d)^2 \leq 3 (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2) + 6ab

Problem 3

In the isosceles triangle ABCABC the angle BACBAC is a right angle. Point DD lies on the side BCBC and satisfies BD=2⋅CDBD = 2 \cdot CD . Point EE is the foot of the perpendicular of the point BB on the line ADAD . Find the angle CEDCED .

Problem 4

Let x,yx,y be real numbers such that the numbers x+y,x2+y2,x3+y3x+y, x^2+y^2, x^3+y^3 and x4+y4x^4+y^4 are integers. Prove that for all positive integers nn , the number xn+ynx^n + y^n is an integer.
