Problem 1

Find all functions f:R→Rf:\mathbb{R} \rightarrow \mathbb{R} such that f(a−b)f(c−d)+f(a−d)f(b−c)≤(a−c)f(b−d)f(a-b)f(c-d) + f(a-d)f(b-c) \leq (a-c)f(b-d) for all real numbers a,b,c,a, b, c, and dd .

Problem 2

The PMO Magician has a special party game. There are nn chairs, labelled 11 to nn . There are nn sheets of paper, labelled 11 to nn .

  • On each chair, she attaches exactly one sheet whose number does not match the number on the chair.
  • She then asks nn party guests to sit on the chairs so that each chair has exactly one occupant.
  • Whenever she claps her hands, each guest looks at the number on the sheet attached to their current chair, and moves to the chair labelled with that number.

Show that if 1<m≤n1 < m \leq n , where mm is not a prime power, it is always possible for the PMO Magician to choose which sheet to attach to each chair so that everyone returns to their original seats after exactly mm claps.

Problem 3

Call a lattice point visible if the line segment connecting the point and the origin does not pass through another lattice point. Given a positive integer kk , denote by SkS_k the set of all visible lattice points (x,y)(x, y) such that x2+y2=k2x^2 + y^2 = k^2 . Let DD denote the set of all positive divisors of 2021⋅20252021 \cdot 2025 . Compute the sum ∑d∈D∣Sd∣\sum_{d \in D} |S_d| Here, a lattice point is a point (x,y)(x, y) on the plane where both xx and yy are integers, and ∣A∣|A| denotes the number of elements of the set AA .

Problem 4

Let △ABC\triangle ABC have incenter II and centroid GG . Suppose that PAP_A is the foot of the perpendicular from CC to the exterior angle bisector of BB , and QAQ_A is the foot of the perpendicular from BB to the exterior angle bisector of CC . Define PBP_B , PCP_C , QBQ_B , and QCQ_C similarly. Show that PA,PB,PC,QA,QB,P_A, P_B, P_C, Q_A, Q_B, and QCQ_C lie on a circle whose center is on line IGIG .

Problem 5

Find all positive integers nn for which there exists a set of exactly nn distinct positive integers, none of which exceed n2n^2 , whose reciprocals add up to 11 .

Problem 6

In △ABC\triangle ABC , let DD be the point on side BCBC such that AB+BD=DC+CA.AB+BD=DC+CA. The line ADAD intersects the circumcircle of △ABC\triangle ABC again at point X≠AX \neq A . Prove that one of the common tangents of the circumcircles of △BDX\triangle BDX and △CDX\triangle CDX is parallel to BCBC .

Problem 7

Let a,b,a, b, and cc be positive real numbers such that ab+bc+ca=3ab + bc + ca = 3 . Show that bc1+a4+ca1+b4+ab1+c4≥32.\dfrac{bc}{1 + a^4} + \dfrac{ca}{1 + b^4} + \dfrac{ab}{1 + c^4} \geq \dfrac{3}{2}.

Problem 8

The set S={1,2,…,2022}S = \{1, 2, \dots, 2022\} is to be partitioned into nn disjoint subsets S1,S2,…,SnS_1, S_2, \dots, S_n such that for each i∈{1,2,…,n}i \in \{1, 2, \dots, n\} , exactly one of the following statements is true:

(a) For all x,y∈Six, y \in S_i , with x≠y,gcd⁡(x,y)>1.x \neq y, \gcd(x, y) > 1. (b) For all x,y∈Six, y \in S_i , with x≠y,gcd⁡(x,y)=1.x \neq y, \gcd(x, y) = 1. Find the smallest value of nn for which this is possible.
