Problem 1

In convex quadrilateral ABCDABCD , ∠CAB=∠BCD\angle CAB = \angle BCD . PP lies on line BCBC such that AP=PCAP = PC , QQ lies on line APAP such that ACAC and DQDQ are parallel, RR is the point of intersection of lines ABAB and CDCD , and SS is the point of intersection of lines ACAC and QRQR . Line ADAD meets the circumcircle of AQSAQS again at TT . Prove that ABAB and QTQT are parallel.

Problem 2

Let nn be a positive integer. Show that there exists a one-to-one function σ:{1,2,...,n}→{1,2,...,n}\sigma : \{1,2,...,n\} \to \{1,2,...,n\} such that ∑k=1nk(k+σ(k))2<12.\sum_{k=1}^{n} \frac{k}{(k+\sigma(k))^2} < \frac{1}{2}.

Problem 3

Denote by Q+\mathbb{Q}^+ the set of positive rational numbers. A function f:Q+→Qf : \mathbb{Q}^+ \to \mathbb{Q} satisfies

• f(p)=1f(p) = 1 for all primes pp , and

• f(ab)=af(b)+bf(a)f(ab) = af(b) + bf(a) for all a,b∈Q+a,b \in \mathbb{Q}^+ .

For which positive integers nn does the equation nf(c)=cnf(c) = c have at least one solution cc in Q+\mathbb{Q}^+ ?

Problem 4

Determine the set of all polynomials P(x)P(x) with real coefficients such that the set {P(n)∣n∈Z}\{P(n) | n \in \mathbb{Z}\} contains all integers, except possibly finitely many of them.

Problem 5

A positive integer is called lucky\emph{lucky} if it is divisible by 77 , and the sum of its digits is also divisible by 77 . Fix a positive integer nn . Show that there exists some lucky integer ll such that ∣n−l∣≤70\left|n - l\right| \leq 70 .

Problem 6

A certain country wishes to interconnect 20212021 cities with flight routes, which are always two-way, in the following manner:

• There is a way to travel between any two cities either via a direct flight or via a sequence of connecting flights.

• For every pair (A,B)(A, B) of cities that are connected by a direct flight, there is another city CC such that (A,C)(A, C) and (B,C)(B, C) are connected by direct flights.

Show that at least 30303030 flight routes are needed to satisfy the two requirements.

Problem 7

Let a,b,c,a, b, c, and dd be real numbers such that a≥b≥c≥da \geq b \geq c \geq d and a+b+c+d=13a+b+c+d = 13 a2+b2+c2+d2=43.a^2+b^2+c^2+d^2=43. Show that ab≥3+cdab \geq 3 + cd .

Problem 8

In right triangle ABCABC , ∠ACB=90∘\angle ACB = 90^{\circ} and tan⁡A>2\tan A > \sqrt{2} . MM is the midpoint of ABAB , PP is the foot of the altitude from CC , and NN is the midpoint of CPCP . Line ABAB meets the circumcircle of CNBCNB again at QQ . RR lies on line BCBC such that QRQR and CPCP are parallel, SS lies on ray CACA past AA such that BR=RSBR = RS , and VV lies on segment SPSP such that AV=VPAV = VP . Line SPSP meets the circumcircle of CPBCPB again at TT . WW lies on ray VAVA past AA such that 2AW=ST2AW = ST , and OO is the circumcenter of SPMSPM . Prove that lines OMOM and BWBW are perpendicular.
