Problem 1

Given n∈Nn \in \mathbb{N}, let σ(n)\sigma (n) denote the sum of the divisors of nn and ϕ(n)\phi (n) denote the number of integers n≥mn \geq m for which gcd⁡(m,n)=1\gcd(m,n) = 1. Show that for all n∈Nn \in \mathbb{N},

1σ(n)+1ϕ(n)≥2n\large \frac{1}{\sigma (n)} + \frac{1}{\phi (n)} \geq \frac{2}{n}

and determine when equality holds.

Problem 2

Find all positive real numbers (a,b,c)≤1(a,b,c) \leq 1 which satisfy

min⁡{ab+1abcbc+1abc,ac+1abc}=1−aa+1−bb+1−cc\huge \min \Bigg\{ \sqrt{\frac{ab+1}{abc}} \sqrt{\frac{bc+1}{abc}}, \sqrt{\frac{ac+1}{abc}} \Bigg \} = \sqrt{\frac{1-a}{a}} + \sqrt{\frac{1-b}{b}} + \sqrt{\frac{1-c}{c}}

Problem 3

Each of the numbers in the set A={1,2,⋯ ,2017}A = \{1,2, \cdots, 2017\} is colored either red or white. Prove that for n≥18n \geq 18, there exists a coloring of the numbers in AA such that any of its n-term arithmetic sequences contains both colors.

Problem 4

Circles C1\mathcal{C}_1 and C2\mathcal{C}_2 with centers at C1C_1 and C2C_2 respectively, intersect at two points AA and BB. Points PP and QQ are varying points on C1\mathcal{C}_1 and C2\mathcal{C}_2, respectively, such that PP, QQ and BB are collinear and BB is always between PP and QQ. Let lines PC1PC_1 and QC2QC_2 intersect at RR, let II be the incenter of ΔPQR\Delta PQR, and let SS be the circumcenter of ΔPIQ\Delta PIQ. Show that as PP and QQ vary, SS traces the arc of a circle whose center is concyclic with AA, C1C_1 and C2C_2.
