NL-NWO 1997 Problem 5

Given is a triangle ABCABC and a point KK within the triangle. The point KK is mirrored in the sides of the triangle: P,QP , Q and RR are the mirrorings of KK in AB,BCAB , BC and CACA , respectively . MM is the center of the circle passing through the vertices of triangle PQRPQR . MM is mirrored again in the sides of triangle ABCABC : P′,Q′P', Q' and R′R' are the mirror of MM in ABAB respectively, BCBC and CACA . a. Prove that KK is the center of the circle passing through the vertices of triangle P′Q′R′P'Q'R' . b. Where should you choose KK within triangle ABCABC so that MM and KK coincide? Prove your answer.
