Problem 1

Find all the prime number p,qp, q and r with p<q<rp < q < r , such that 25pq+r=200425pq + r = 2004 and pqr+1pqr + 1 is a perfect square.

Problem 2

Find the maximum number of positive integers such that any two of them a,ba, b (with a≠ba \ne b ) satisfy that ∣a−b∣≥ab100.|a - b| \ge \frac{ab}{100} .

Problem 3

Let ZZ and YY be the tangency points of the incircle of the triangle ABCABC with the sides ABAB and CACA , respectively. The parallel line to YZY Z through the midpoint MM of BCBC , meets CACA in NN . Let LL be the point in CACA such that NL=ABNL = AB (and LL on the same side of NN than AA ). The line MLML meets ABAB in KK . Prove that KA=NCKA = NC .

Problem 4

At the end of a soccer tournament in which any pair of teams played between them exactly once, and in which there were not draws, it was observed that for any three teams A,BA, B and C, if AA defeated BB and BB defeated CC , then AA defeated CC . Any team calculated the difference (positive) between the number of games that it won and the number of games it lost. The sum of all these differences was 50005000 . How many teams played in the tournament? Find all possible answers.

Problem 5

Let ω1\omega_1 and ω2\omega_2 be two circles such that the center OO of ω2\omega_2 lies in ω1\omega_1 . Let CC and DD be the two intersection points of the circles. Let AA be a point on ω1\omega_1 and let BB be a point on ω2\omega_2 such that ACAC is tangent to ω2\omega_2 in C and BC is tangent to ω1\omega_1 in CC . The line segment ABAB meets ω2\omega_2 again in EE and also meets ω1\omega_1 again in F. The line CECE meets ω1\omega_1 again in GG and the line CFCF meets the line GDGD in HH . Prove that the intersection point of GOGO and EHEH is the center of the circumcircle of the triangle DEFDEF .

Problem 6

What is the maximum number of possible change of directions in a path traveling on the edges of a rectangular array of 2004×20042004 \times 2004 , if the path does not cross the same place twice?.
