Problem 5

Let ABCABC be an acute-angled triangle with AB<AC,AB<AC, and let DD be the foot of its altitude from A,A, points B′B' and C′C' lie on the rays ABAB and AC,AC, respectively , so that points B′,B', C′C' and DD are collinear and points B,B, C,C, B′B' and C′C' lie on one circle with center O.O. Prove that if MM is the midpoint of BCBC and HH is the orthocenter of ABC,ABC, then DHMODHMO is a parallelogram.

Problem 6

Let ABCABC be a triangle . The internal bisector of ABCABC intersects the side ACAC at LL and the circumcircle of ABCABC again at W≠B.W \neq B. Let KK be the perpendicular projection of LL onto AW.AW. the circumcircle of BLCBLC intersects line CKCK again at P≠C.P \neq C. Lines BPBP and AWAW meet at point T.T. Prove that AW=WT.AW=WT.

Problem 7

Let a1,a2,a3,⋯a_1,a_2,a_3,\cdots be the sequence of positive integers such that a1=1,ak+1=ak3+1,a_1=1 , a_{k+1}=a^3_k+1, for all positive integers k.k. Prove that for every prime number pp of the form 3l+2,3l +2, where ll is a non-negative integer ,there exists a positive integer nn such that ana_n is divisible by p.p.

Problem 8

An integer nn is called silesian if there exist positive integers a,ba,b and cc such that n=a2+b2+c2ab+bc+ca.n=\frac{a^2+b^2+c^2}{ab+bc+ca}. (a)(a) prove that there are infinitely many silesian integers. (b)(b) prove that not every positive integer is silesian.
