Other problems

Problem 1

The diagonals ACAC and BDBD of a cyclic quadrilateral ABCDABCD intersect at PP . Let OO be the circumcenter of triangle APBAPB and HH be the orthocenter of triangle CPDCPD . Show that the points H,P,OH,P,O are collinear.

Problem 2

Let p(x)=x2+ax+bp(x) = x^2 +ax +b be a quadratic polynomial with a,b∈Za,b \in \mathbb{Z} . Given any integer nn , show that there is an integer MM such that p(n)p(n+1)=p(M)p(n) p(n+1) = p(M) .

Problem 3

If a,b,c,d∈R+a,b,c,d \in \mathbb{R}_{+} and a+b+c+d=1a+b +c +d =1 , show that ab+bc+cd≤14.ab +bc +cd \leq \dfrac{1}{4}.

Problem 4

Let ABCABC be a triangle in a plane π\pi . Find the set of all points PP (distinct from A,B,CA,B,C ) in the plane π\pi such that the circumcircles of triangles ABPABP , BCPBCP , CAPCAP have the same radii.

Problem 5

Show that there is a natural number nn such that n!n! when written in decimal notation ends exactly in 1993 zeros.

Problem 6

Let ABCABC be a triangle right-angled at AA and SS be its circumcircle. Let S1S_1 be the circle touching the lines ABAB and ACAC , and the circle SS internally. Further, let S2S_2 be the circle touching the lines ABAB and ACAC and the circle SS externally. If r1,r2r_1, r_2 be the radii of S1,S2S_1, S_2 prove that r1⋅r2=4A[ABC]r_1 \cdot r_2 = 4 A[ABC] .
