Problem 1

For every positive integer nn let S(n)S(n) be the sum of its digits. We say nn has a property PP if all terms in the infinite secuence n,S(n),S(S(n)),...n, S(n), S(S(n)),... are even numbers, and we say nn has a property II if all terms in this secuence are odd. Show that for, 1≤n≤20171 \le n \le 2017 there are more nn that have property II than those who have PP .

Problem 2

Let ABCABC be an acute angled triangle and Γ\Gamma its circumcircle. Led DD be a point on segment BCBC , different from BB and CC , and let MM be the midpoint of ADAD . The line perpendicular to ABAB that passes through DD intersects ABAB in EE and Γ\Gamma in FF , with point DD between EE and FF . Lines FCFC and EMEM intersect at point XX . If ∠DAE=∠AFE\angle DAE = \angle AFE , show that line AXAX is tangent to Γ\Gamma .

Problem 3

Consider the configurations of integers a1,1a_{1,1} a2,1a2,2a_{2,1} a_{2,2} a3,1a3,2a3,3a_{3,1} a_{3,2} a_{3,3} ………\dots \dots \dots a2017,1a2017,2a2017,3…a2017,2017a_{2017,1} a_{2017,2} a_{2017,3} \dots a_{2017,2017} Where ai,j=ai+1,j+ai+1,j+1a_{i,j} = a_{i+1,j} + a_{i+1,j+1} for all i,ji,j such that 1≤j≤i≤20161 \leq j \leq i \leq 2016 . Determine the maximum amount of odd integers that such configuration can contain.

Problem 4

Let ABCABC be an acute triangle with AC>ABAC > AB and OO its circumcenter. Let DD be a point on segment BCBC such that OO lies inside triangle ADCADC and ∠DAO+∠ADB=∠ADC\angle DAO + \angle ADB = \angle ADC . Let PP and QQ be the circumcenters of triangles ABDABD and ACDACD respectively, and let MM be the intersection of lines BPBP and CQCQ . Show that lines AM,PQAM, PQ and BCBC are concurrent.

Problem 5

Given a positive integer nn , all of its positive integer divisors are written on a board. Two players AA and BB play the following game:

Each turn, each player colors one of these divisors either red or blue. They may choose whichever color they wish, but they may only color numbers that have not been colored before. The game ends once every number has been colored. AA wins if the product of all of the red numbers is a perfect square, or if no number has been colored red, BB wins otherwise. If AA goes first, determine who has a winning strategy for each nn .

Problem 6

Let n>2n > 2 be an even positive integer and let a1<a2<⋯<ana_1 < a_2 < \dots < a_n be real numbers such that ak+1−ak≤1a_{k + 1} - a_k \leq 1 for each 1≤k≤n−11 \leq k \leq n - 1 . Let AA be the set of ordered pairs (i,j)(i, j) with 1≤i<j≤n1 \leq i < j \leq n such that j−ij - i is even, and let BB the set of ordered pairs (i,j)(i, j) with 1≤i<j≤n1 \leq i < j \leq n such that j−ij - i is odd. Show that ∏(i,j)∈A(aj−ai)>∏(i,j)∈B(aj−ai)\prod_{(i, j) \in A} (a_j - a_i) > \prod_{(i, j) \in B} (a_j - a_i)
