Problem 1

A set SS of positive integers is said to be channeler if for any three distinct numbers a,b,c∈Sa,b,c \in S , we have a∣bca\mid bc , b∣cab\mid ca , c∣abc\mid ab .

a) Prove that for any finite set of positive integers {c1,c2,…,cn}\{ c_1, c_2, \ldots, c_n \} there exist infinitely many positive integers kk , such that the set {kc1,kc2,…,kcn}\{ kc_1, kc_2, \ldots, kc_n \} is a channeler set.

b) Prove that for any integer n≥3n \ge 3 there is a channeler set who has exactly nn elements, and such that no integer greater than 11 divides all of its elements.

Problem 2

Let XX and YY be the diameter's extremes of a circunference Γ\Gamma and NN be the midpoint of one of the arcs XYXY of Γ\Gamma . Let AA and BB be two points on the segment XYXY . The lines NANA and NBNB cuts Γ\Gamma again in CC and DD , respectively. The tangents to Γ\Gamma at CC and at DD meets in PP . Let MM the the intersection point between XYXY and NPNP . Prove that MM is the midpoint of the segment ABAB .

Problem 4

Let Γ\Gamma be a circunference and OO its center. AEAE is a diameter of Γ\Gamma and BB the midpoint of one of the arcs AEAE of Γ\Gamma . The point D≠ED \ne E in on the segment OEOE . The point CC is such that the quadrilateral ABCDABCD is a parallelogram, with ABAB parallel to CDCD and BCBC parallel to ADAD . The lines EBEB and CDCD meets at point FF . The line OFOF cuts the minor arc EBEB of Γ\Gamma at II .

Prove that the line EIEI is the angle bissector of ∠BEC\angle BEC .

Problem 5

Let AA and BB be two sets such that A∪BA \cup B is the set of the positive integers, and A∩BA \cap B is the empty set. It is known that if two positive integers have a prime larger than 20132013 as their difference, then one of them is in AA and the other is in BB . Find all the possibilities for the sets AA and BB .

Problem 6

A beautiful configuration of points is a set of nn colored points, such that if a triangle with vertices in the set has an angle of at least 120120 degrees, then exactly 2 of its vertices are colored with the same color. Determine the maximum possible value of nn .
