Problem 1

It is given a 10011001 board divided in 11 squares. We want to amrk m squares in such a way that: 1: if 2 squares are adjacent then one of them is marked. 2: if 6 squares lie consecutively in a row or column then two adjacent squares from them are marked.

Find the minimun number of squares we most mark.

Problem 2

In the plane are given a circle with center OO and radius rr and a point AA outside the circle. For any point MM on the circle, let NN be the diametrically opposite point. Find the locus of the circumcenter of triangle AMNAMN when MM describes the circle.

Problem 3

Let nn and kk be positive integers such as either nn is odd or both nn and kk are even. Prove that exists integers aa and bb such as GCD(a,n)=GCD(b,n)=1GCD(a,n) = GCD(b,n) = 1 and k=a+bk = a + b

Problem 4

Determine all pairs (a,b)(a,b) of positive integers, each integer having two decimal digits, such that 100a+b100a+b and 201a+b201a+b are both perfect squares.

Problem 5

Given a scalene triangle ABCABC . Let A′A' , B′B' , C′C' be the points where the internal bisectors of the angles CABCAB , ABCABC , BCABCA meet the sides BCBC , CACA , ABAB , respectively. Let the line BCBC meet the perpendicular bisector of AA′AA' at A′′A'' . Let the line CACA meet the perpendicular bisector of BB′BB' at B′B' . Let the line ABAB meet the perpendicular bisector of CC′CC' at C′′C'' . Prove that A′′A'' , B′′B'' and C′′C'' are collinear.

Problem 6

Given a set H\mathcal{H} of points in the plane, PP is called an "intersection point of H\mathcal{H} " if distinct points A,B,C,DA,B,C,D exist in H\mathcal{H} such that lines ABAB and CDCD are distinct and intersect in PP . Given a finite set A0\mathcal{A}_{0} of points in the plane, a sequence of sets is defined as follows: for any j≥0j\geq0 , Aj+1\mathcal{A}_{j+1} is the union of Aj\mathcal{A}_{j} and the intersection points of Aj\mathcal{A}_{j} . Prove that, if the union of all the sets in the sequence is finite, then Ai=A1\mathcal{A}_{i}=\mathcal{A}_{1} for any i≥1i\geq1 .
