Consider the following sequence pn(x)p_n(x) of polynomials with integer coefficients: let p0(x)=0p_0(x)=0, p1(x)=1p_1(x)=1, and for all n≥2n\ge 2 let pn(x)=pn−1(x)+x⋅pn−2(x).p_n(x)=p_{n-1}(x)+x\cdot p_{n-2}(x). Prove that if a polynomial f(x)f(x) divides the polynomials pn(x)p_n(x) and pm(x)p_m(x) for some positive integers nn, mm then it also divides the polynomial p(m,n)(x)p_{(m,n)}(x). ((n,m)(n,m) denotes the greatest common divisor of nn and mm. A polynomial P(x)P(x) divides a polynomial Q(x)Q(x) if there exists a polynomial R(x)R(x) of real coefficients for which Q(x)=P(x)R(x)Q(x)=P(x)R(x).)
