The circle k1k_1 is internally tangent to the circle kk which is externally tangent to k2k_2. The common external tangents of k1k_1 and k2k_2 are uu and vv. The line uu is tangent to k1k_1 and k2k_2 at PP and QQ, respectively, and meets kk at AA and BB in such a way that BB lies between PP and QQ. Analogously, the line vv is tangent to k1k_1 and k2k_2 at RR and SS, respectively, and meets kkat CC and DD in such a way that DD lies between RR and SSand k1k_1 is tangent to that arc BDBD of kk which does not contain AA and CC. Show that AB⋅ADAP⋅AQ=CB⋅CDCR⋅CS.\frac {AB\cdot AD} {AP\cdot AQ} = \frac {CB\cdot CD} {CR\cdot CS} .
