The positive integers are coloured with a finite number of colours. A function fffrom the set of positive integers to itself has the following two properties: (aa) if x≤yx \le y, then ff(xx)≤f\le f(yy); and (bb) if xx, yy, and zz are (not necessarily distinct) positive integers of the same colour and xx+yy=zz, then ff(xx)+ff(yy)=ff(zz). Does it follow that the function f(x)x\frac{f(x)}x is bounded from above?
