Let m≥m \ge3 be a positive integer, and let Φm\Phi_m(xx) be the mmth cyclotomic polynomial, and denote by Ψm\Psi_m(xx) the polynomial with integer coefficients for which xφ(m)/2Ψm(x+1x)=Φm(x)x^{\varphi(m)/2} \Psi_m\left(x+\frac1x\right) = \Phi_m(x). Prove that for every integer aa, any prime divisor of the number Ψm\Psi_m(aa) either divides mm or is of the form mk±mk \pm1.
