  • Answer

Once it has been demonstrated that lim⁡n→∞pn(0)\lim _{n \rightarrow \infty} p_{n}(0) exists and is greater than 0 , it follows that lim⁡n→∞pn(k)\lim _{n \rightarrow \infty} p_{n}(k) exists and is greater than 0 for all even positive integers kk and that ∑k=0∞A2k=1\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} A_{2 k}=1. It also follows that A0=a1A0+a2A2+a3A4,A2=b1A0+b2A2+b3A4+b4A6A_{0}=a_{1} A_{0}+a_{2} A_{2}+a_{3} A_{4}, A_{2}=b_{1} A_{0}+b_{2} A_{2}+b_{3} A_{4}+b_{4} A_{6}, and A2j=c1A2j−2+c2A2j+A_{2 j}=c_{1} A_{2 j-2}+c_{2} A_{2 j}+ c3A2j+2+c4A2j+4c_{3} A_{2 j+2}+c_{4} A_{2 j+4} for all positive integers j≥2j \geq 2, where a1,a2,a3,b1,b2,b3,b4a_{1}, a_{2}, a_{3}, b_{1}, b_{2}, b_{3}, b_{4}, and c1,c2,c3,c4c_{1}, c_{2}, c_{3}, c_{4} are the constants you found in problem 8. Assuming these results, determine, with proof, the value of A0A_{0}.
