Problem 1

A function ff satisfies f(cos⁡x)=cos⁡(17x)f(\cos x) = \cos (17x) for every real xx . Show that f(sin⁡x)=sin⁡(17x)f(\sin x) =\sin (17x) for every x∈R.x \in \mathbb{R}.

Problem 2

Show that if 1a+1b+1c=1a+b+c,\frac{1}{a}+\frac{1}{b}+\frac{1}{c}=\frac{1}{a + b + c}, then also 1an+1bn+1cn=1an+bn+cn,\frac{1}{a^n} +\frac{1}{b^n} +\frac{1}{c^n} =\frac{1}{a^n + b^n + c^n}, provided nn is an odd positive integer.

Problem 3

nn pairs are formed from nn girls and nn boys at random. What is the probability of having at least one pair of girls? For which nn the probability is over 0,9?0,9?

Problem 4

Convex figure K\mathcal{K} has the following property: if one looks at K\mathcal{K} from any point of the certain circle Y\mathcal{Y} , then K\mathcal{K} is seen in the right angle. Show that the figure is symmetric with respect to the centre of Y.\mathcal{Y.}

Problem 5

There is a regular 1717 -gon P\mathcal{P} and its circumcircle Y\mathcal{Y} on the plane. The vertices of P\mathcal{P} are coloured in such a way that A,B∈PA,B \in \mathcal{P} are of diff erent colour, if the shorter arc connecting AA and BB on Y\mathcal{Y} has 2k+12^k+1 vertices, for some k∈N,k \in \mathbb{N}, including AA and B.B. What is the least number of colours which suffices?
