Round 1

Problem 2

  • Round 1

There are 99999999 rods with lengths 1,2,...,9998,99991, 2, ..., 9998, 9999 . The players Anja and Bernd alternately remove one of the sticks, with Anja starting. The game ends when there are only three bars left. If from those three bars, a not degenerate triangle can be constructed then Anja wins, otherwise Bernd. Who has a winning strategy?

Problem 3

  • Round 1

On the sides of a triangle XYZXYZ to the outside construct similar triangles YDZ,EXZ,YXFYDZ, EXZ ,YXF with circumcenters K,L,MK, L ,M respectively. Here are ∠ZDY=∠ZXE=∠FXY\angle ZDY = \angle ZXE = \angle FXY and ∠YZD=∠EZX=∠YFX\angle YZD = \angle EZX = \angle YFX . Show that the triangle KLMKLM is similar to the triangles . Image

Problem 4

  • Round 1

Find all numbers that can be expressed in exactly 20102010 different ways as the sum of powers of two with non-negative exponents, each power appearing as a summand at most three times. A sum can also be made from just one summand.

Problem 5

  • Round 2

Let a,b,ca, b, c be the side lengths of an non-degenerate triangle with a≤b≤ca \le b \le c . With t(a,b,c)t (a, b, c) denote the minimum of the quotients ba\frac{b}{a} and cb\frac{c}{b} . Find all values that t(a,b,c)t (a, b, c) can take.

Problem 6

  • Round 2

The sequence of numbers a1,a2,a3,...a_1, a_2, a_3, ... is defined recursively by a1=1,an+1=⌊a1+a2+...+an⌋a_1 = 1, a_{n + 1} = \lfloor \sqrt{a_1+a_2+...+a_n} \rfloor for n≥1n \ge 1 . Find all numbers that appear more than twice at this sequence.

Problem 7

  • Round 2

Given an acute-angled triangle ABCABC . Let CBCB be the altitude and EE a random point on the line CDCD . Finally, let P,Q,RP, Q, R and SS are the projections of DD on the straight lines AC,AE,BEAC, AE, BE and BCBC . Prove that the points P,Q,RP, Q, R and SS lie either on a circle or on one straight line.

Problem 8

  • Round 2

In the following, let N0N_0 denotes the set of non-negative integers. Find all polynomials P(x)P(x) that fulfill the following two properties: (1) All coefficients of P(x)P(x) are from N0N_0 . (2) Exists a function f:N0→N0f : N_0 \to N_0 such as f(f(f(n)))=P(n)f (f (f (n))) = P (n) for all n∈N0n \in N_0 .
