Other problems

Problem 1

Find all natural numbers nn for which 7n−17^n -1 is divisible by 6n−16^n -1

Problem 2

In fields of a 19×1919 \times 19 table are written integers so that any two lying on neighboring fields differ at most by 22 (two fields are neighboring if they share a side). Find the greatest possible number of mutually different integers in such a table.

Problem 3

Let AKLAKL be a triangle such that ∠ALK>90o+∠LAK\angle ALK > 90^o +\angle LAK . Construct an isosceles trapezoid ABCDABCD with AB∥CDAB \parallel CD such that KK lies on the side BC,LBC, L on the diagonal ACAC and the lines AKAK and BLBL intersect at the circumcenter of the trapezoid.

Problem 4

The sequence ( ana_n ) of natural numbers is defined by a1=2a_1 = 2 and an+1a_{n+1} equals the sum of tenth powers of the decimal digits of ana_n for all n≥1n \ge 1 . Are there numbers which appear twice in the sequence ( ana_n )?

Problem 5

Find all functions f:Z→Zf : Z \to Z such that f(−1)=f(1)f(-1) = f(1) and f(x)+f(y)=f(x+2xy)+f(y−2xy)f(x)+ f(y) = f(x+2xy)+ f(y-2xy) for all x,y∈Zx,y \in Z

Problem 6

Show that there exists a tetrahedron which can be partitioned into eight congruent tetrahedra, each of which is similar to the original one.
