Problem 1

Let nn be a positive integer and k∈[0,n]k\in[0,n] be a fixed real constant. Find the maximum value of ∣∑i=1nsin⁡(2xi)∣\left|\sum_{i=1}^n\sin(2x_i)\right| where x1,…,xnx_1,\ldots,x_n are real numbers satisfying ∑i=1nsin⁡2(xi)=k.\sum_{i=1}^n\sin^2(x_i)=k.

Problem 2

Given a triangle ABCABC , prove that for every inner point PP of the side ABAB the inequality PC⋅AB<PA⋅BC+PB⋅ACPC\cdot AB<PA\cdot BC+PB\cdot AC holds.

Problem 3

An 8×88\times 8 chessboard is made of unit squares. We put a rectangular piece of paper with sides of length 1 and 2. We say that the paper and a single square overlap if they share an inner point. Determine the maximum number of black squares that can overlap the paper.

Problem 4

Consider an arithmetic progression a0,…,ana_0,\ldots,a_n with n≥2n\ge2 . Prove that ∑k=0n(−1)k(nk)ak=0.\sum_{k=0}^n(-1)^k\binom{n}{k}a_k=0.

Problem 5

Find all pair (x,y)(x,y) of positive integers satisfying ∣xy−2∣<1y3.\left|\frac{x}{y}-\sqrt2\right|<\frac{1}{y^3}.

Problem 6

Consider a circle kk with center SS and radius rr . Denote M\mathsf M the set of all triangles with incircle kk such that the largest inner angle is twice bigger than the smallest one. For a triangle T∈M\mathcal T\in\mathsf M denote its vertices A,B,CA,B,C in way that SA≥SB≥SCSA\ge SB\ge SC . Find the locus of points {B∣T∈M}\{B\mid\mathcal T\in\mathsf M\} .
