Problem 2

Let CC be a circunference, OO is your circumcenter, ABAB is your diameter and RR is any point in CC ( RR is different of AA and BB ) Let PP be the foot of perpendicular by OO to ARAR , in the line OPOP we match a point QQ , where QPQP is OP2\frac{OP}{2} and the point QQ isn't in the segment OPOP . In QQ , we will do a parallel line to ABAB that cut the line ARAR in TT . Denote HH the point of intersections of the line AQAQ and OTOT . Show that HH , BB and RR are collinears.

Problem 3

Show that, exist infinite triples (a,b,c)(a, b, c) where a,b,ca, b, c are natural numbers, such that: 2a2+3b2−5c2=19972a^2 + 3b^2 - 5c^2 = 1997

Problem 4

Consider a board with nn rows and 44 columns. In the first line are written 44 zeros (one in each house). Next, each line is then obtained from the previous line by performing the following operation: one of the houses, (that you can choose), is maintained as in the previous line; the other three are changed:

  • if in the previous line there was a 00 , then in the down square 11 is placed;
  • if in the previous line there was a 11 , then in the down square 22 is placed;
  • if in the previous line there was a 22 , then in the down square 00 is placed; Build the largest possible board with all its distinct lines and demonstrate that it is impossible to build a larger board.

Problem 5

Let nn be a natural number n>3n>3 . Show that in the multiples of 99 less than 10n10^n , exist more numbers with the sum of your digits equal to 9(n−2)9(n - 2) than numbers with the sum of your digits equal to 9(n−1)9(n - 1) .

Problem 6

Let ABCABC be a acute-angle triangle and XX be point in the plane of this triangle. Let M,N,PM,N,P be the orthogonal projections of XX in the lines that contains the altitudes of this triangle Determine the positions of the point XX such that the triangle MNPMNP is congruent to ABCABC
