CGMO 2011 Problem 7

There are nn boxes B1,B2,…,Bn{B_1},{B_2},\ldots,{B_n} from left to right, and there are nn balls in these boxes. If there is at least 11 ball in B1{B_1} , we can move one to B2{B_2} . If there is at least 11 ball in Bn{B_n} , we can move one to Bn−1{B_{n - 1}} . If there are at least 22 balls in Bk{B_k} , 2≤k≤n−12 \leq k \leq n - 1 we can move one to Bk−1{B_{k - 1}} , and one to Bk+1{B_{k + 1}} . Prove that, for any arrangement of the nn balls, we can achieve that each box has one ball in it.
