Problem 1

The sequence (an)n∈N(a_n)_{n \in\mathbb{N}} is defined by a1=8,a2=18,an+2=an+1ana_1 = 8, a_2 = 18, a_{n+2} = a_{n+1}a_{n} . Find all terms which are perfect squares.

Problem 2

A real number with absolute value less than 11 is written in each cell of an n×nn\times n array, so that the sum of the numbers in each 2×22\times 2 square is zero. Show that for odd nn the sum of all the numbers is less than nn .

Problem 3

Given a circle and its center OO , a point AA inside the circle and a distance hh , construct a triangle BACBAC with ∠BAC=90∘\angle BAC = 90^\circ , BB and CC on the circle and the altitude from AA length hh .

Problem 4

ABCDABCD is a convex quadrilateral with ∠BAC=30∘\angle BAC = 30^\circ∠CAD=20∘\angle CAD = 20^\circ∠ABD=50∘\angle ABD = 50^\circ∠DBC=30∘\angle DBC = 30^\circ If the diagonals intersect at PP , show that PC=PDPC = PD .

Problem 5

Find at least one function f:R→Rf: \mathbb R \rightarrow \mathbb R such that f(0)=0f(0)=0 and f(2x+1)=3f(x)+5f(2x+1) = 3f(x) + 5 for any real xx .
