Problem 1

Let x1,x2…,x5x_1, x_2 \ldots , x_5 be real numbers. Find the least positive integer nn with the following property: if some nn distinct sums of the form xp+xq+xrx_p+x_q+x_r (with 1≤p<q<r≤51\le p<q<r\le 5 ) are equal to 00 , then x1=x2=⋯=x5=0x_1=x_2=\cdots=x_5=0 .

Problem 2

Let HH be an arbitrary point on the altitude CPCP of the acute triangle ABCABC . The lines AHAH and BHBH intersect BCBC and ACAC in MM and NN , respectively.
(a) Prove that ∠NPC=∠MPC\angle NPC =\angle MPC . (b) Let OO be the common point of MNMN and CPCP . An arbitrary line through OO meets the sides of quadrilateral CNHMCNHM in DD and EE . Prove that ∠EPC=∠DPC\angle EPC =\angle DPC .
Problem 3

Given the sequence {yn}n=1∞\{y_n\}_{n=1}^{\infty} defined by y1=y2=1y_1=y_2=1 and yn+2=(4k−5)yn+1−yn+4−2k,n≥1y_{n+2} = (4k-5)y_{n+1}-y_n+4-2k, n\ge1 find all integers kk such that every term of the sequence is a perfect square.

Problem 4

A set AA of positive integers is called uniform if, after any of its elements removed, the remaining ones can be partitioned into two subsets with equal sum of their elements. Find the least positive integer n>1n>1 such that there exist a uniform set AA with nn elements.

Problem 5

Let a,b,ca,b,c be rational numbers such that a+b+ca+b+c and a2+b2+c2a^2+b^2+c^2 are equal integers. Prove that the number abcabc can be written as the ratio of a perfect cube and a perfect square which are relatively prime.

Problem 6

Determine all polynomials P(x)P(x) with integer coefficients such that, for any positive integer nn , the equation P(x)=2nP(x)=2^n has an integer root.
