Problem 1

Through a random point C1C_1 from the edge DCDC of the regular tetrahedron ABCDABCD is drawn a plane, parallel to the plane ABCABC . The plane constructed intersects the edges DADA and DBDB at the points A1,B1A_1,B_1 respectively. Let the point HH is the midpoint of the altitude through the vertex DD of the tetrahedron DA1B1C1DA_1B_1C_1 and MM is the center of gravity (barycenter) of the triangle ABC1ABC_1 . Prove that the measure of the angle HMCHMC doesn't depend on the position of the point C1C_1 . (Ivan Tonov)

Problem 2

Prove that there exists 19041904 -element subset of the set {1,2,…,1992}\{1,2,\ldots,1992\} , which doesn't contain an arithmetic progression consisting of 4141 terms. (Ivan Tonov)

Problem 3

Let mm and nn are fixed natural numbers and OxyOxy is a coordinate system in the plane. Find the total count of all possible situations of n+m−1n+m-1 points P1(x1,y1),P2(x2,y2),…,Pn+m−1(xn+m−1,yn+m−1)P_1(x_1,y_1),P_2(x_2,y_2),\ldots,P_{n+m-1}(x_{n+m-1},y_{n+m-1}) in the plane for which the following conditions are satisfied:

(i) The numbers xix_i and yi (i=1,2,…,n+m−1)y_i~(i=1,2,\ldots,n+m-1) are integers and 1≤xi≤n,1≤yi≤m1\le x_i\le n,1\le y_i\le m . (ii) Every one of the numbers 1,2,…,n1,2,\ldots,n can be found in the sequence x1,x2,…,xn+m−1x_1,x_2,\ldots,x_{n+m-1} and every one of the numbers 1,2,…,m1,2,\ldots,m can be found in the sequence y1,y2,…,yn+m−1y_1,y_2,\ldots,y_{n+m-1} . (iii) For every i=1,2,…,n+m−2i=1,2,\ldots,n+m-2 the line PiPi+1P_iP_{i+1} is parallel to one of the coordinate axes. (Ivan Gochev, Hristo Minchev)

Problem 4

Let pp be a prime number in the form p=4k+3p=4k+3 . Prove that if the numbers x0,y0,z0,t0x_0,y_0,z_0,t_0 are solutions of the equation x2p+y2p+z2p=t2px^{2p}+y^{2p}+z^{2p}=t^{2p} , then at least one of them is divisible by pp . (Plamen Koshlukov)

Problem 5

Points D,E,FD,E,F are midpoints of the sides AB,BC,CAAB,BC,CA of triangle ABCABC . Angle bisectors of the angles BDCBDC and ADCADC intersect the lines BCBC and ACAC respectively at the points MM and NN , and the line MNMN intersects the line CDCD at the point OO . Let the lines EOEO and FOFO intersect respectively the lines ACAC and BCBC at the points PP and QQ . Prove that CD=PQCD=PQ . (Plamen Koshlukov)

Problem 6

There are given one black box and nn white boxes ( nn is a random natural number). White boxes are numbered with the numbers 1,2,…,n1,2,\ldots,n . In them are put nn balls. It is allowed the following rearrangement of the balls: if in the box with number kk there are exactly kk balls, that box is made empty - one of the balls is put in the black box and the other k−1k-1 balls are put in the boxes with numbers: 1,2,…,k−11,2,\ldots,k-1 .
