Problem 2

Let nn be the square of an integer whose each prime divisor has an even number of decimal digits. Consider P(x)=xn−1987xP(x) = x^n - 1987x . Show that if x,yx,y are rational numbers with P(x)=P(y)P(x) = P(y) , then x=yx = y .

Problem 3

A function f:R→Rf: R \to R satisfies f(x+1)=f(x)+1f (x + 1) = f (x) + 1 for all xx . Problem 9

Let MM be the set of all points (x,y)(x,y) in the cartesian plane, with integer coordinates satisfying 1≤x≤121 \le x \le 12 and 1≤y≤131 \le y \le 13 .
