Problem 1

Let Γ1\Gamma_{1} and Γ2\Gamma_{2} be two circles touching each other externally at RR. Let l1l_{1} be a line which is tangent to Γ2\Gamma_{2} at PP and passing through the center O1O_{1} of Γ1\Gamma_{1}. Similarly, let l2l_{2} be a line which is tangent to Γ2\Gamma_{2} at QQ and passing through the center O2O_{2} of Γ2\Gamma_{2}. Suppose l1l_{1} and l2l_{2} are not parallel and interesct at KK. If KP=KQK P=K Q, prove that the triangle PQRP Q R is equilateral.

Problem 2

Find all positive integers m,nm, n, and primes p≥5p \geq 5 such that

m(4m2+m+12)=3(pn−1)m\left(4 m^{2}+m+12\right)=3\left(p^{n}-1\right)

Problem 3

Let a,b,c,da, b, c, d be positive integers such that a≥b≥c≥da \geq b \geq c \geq d. Prove that the equation x4−ax3−bx2−cx−d=0x^{4}-a x^{3}-b x^{2}-c x-d=0 has no integer solution.

Problem 4

Let nn be a positive integer. Call a nonempty subset SS of {1,2,…,n}\{1,2, \ldots, n\} good if the arithmetic mean of the elements of SS is also an integer. Further let tnt_{n} denote the number of good subsets of {1,2,…,n}\{1,2, \ldots, n\}. Prove that tnt_{n} and nn are both odd or both even.

Problem 5

In an acute triangle ABC,OA B C, O is the circumcenter, HH is the orthocenter and GG is the centroid. Let ODO D be perpendicular to BCB C and HEH E be perpendicular to CAC A, with DD on BCB C and EE on CAC A. Let FF be the midpoint of ABA B. Suppose the areas of triangles ODC,HEAO D C, H E A and GFBG F B are equal. Find all the possible values of C^\widehat{C}.

Problem 6

Let a,b,c,x,y,za, b, c, x, y, z be positive real numbers such that a+b+c=x+y+za+b+c=x+y+z and abc =xyz=x y z. Further, suppose that a≤x<y<z≤ca \leq x<y<z \leq c and a<b<ca<b<c. Prove that a=x,b=ya=x, b=y and c=zc=z.
