Problem 1

Let ABCA B C be a triangle with circum-circle Γ\Gamma. Let MM be a point in the interior of triangle ABCA B C which is also on the bisector of ∠A\angle A. Let AM,BM,CMA M, B M, C M meet Γ\Gamma in A1,B1,C1A_{1}, B_{1}, C_{1} respectively. Suppose PP is the point of intersection of A1C1A_{1} C_{1} with ABA B; and QQ is the point of intersection of A1B1A_{1} B_{1} with ACA C. Prove that PQP Q is parallel to BCB C.

Problem 2

Find all natural numbers n>1n>1 such that n2n^{2} does not divide (n−2)(n-2) !.

Problem 3

Find all non-zero real numbers x,y,zx, y, z which satisfy the system of equations:

(x2+xy+y2)(y2+yz+z2)(z2+zx+x2)=xyz(x4+x2y2+y4)(y4+y2z2+z4)(z4+z2x2+x4)=x3y3z3\begin{aligned} \left(x^{2}+x y+y^{2}\right)\left(y^{2}+y z+z^{2}\right)\left(z^{2}+z x+x^{2}\right) & =x y z \\ \left(x^{4}+x^{2} y^{2}+y^{4}\right)\left(y^{4}+y^{2} z^{2}+z^{4}\right)\left(z^{4}+z^{2} x^{2}+x^{4}\right) & =x^{3} y^{3} z^{3} \end{aligned}

Problem 5

Let ABCA B C be an acute-angled triangle with altitude AKA K. Let HH be its ortho-centre and OO be its circum-centre. Suppose KOHK O H is an acute-angled triangle and PP its circum-centre. Let QQ be the reflection of PP in the line HOH O. Show that QQ lies on the line joining the mid-points of ABA B and ACA C.

Problem 6

Define a sequence ⟨an⟩n≥0\left\langle a_{n}\right\rangle_{n \geq 0} by a0=0,a1=1a_{0}=0, a_{1}=1 and

an=2an−1+an−2a_{n}=2 a_{n-1}+a_{n-2}
