EGMO 2025 Problem 3

  • Day 1

Let ABCA B C be an acute triangle. Points BB , DD , EE , and CC lie on a line in this order and satisfy BD=B D = DE=ECD E = E C . Let MM and NN be the midpoints of ADA D and AEA E , respectively. Let HH be the orthocentre of triangle ADEA D E . Let PP and QQ be points on lines BMB M and CNC N , respectively, such that DD , HH , MM , and PP are concyclic and EE , HH , NN , and QQ are concyclic. Prove that PP , QQ , NN , and MM are concyclic.

The orthocentre of a triangle is the point of intersection of its altitudes.
